Job Description
IT Support Administrator / Specialist – We need a cyber security specialist.
Location – Ideally the Manchester area due to hybrid working approach.
We are looking for a dedicated IT support specialist to join our diverse and dynamic company and support some of the best technologists in the UK covering Manchester.
The ideal candidate will have minimum 2/3 years experience who are comfortable working on their own with support being given to them remotely and thus must have great communication skills.
Requirements:
- Microsoft 365 Administration (User and licence management)
- Microsoft 365 MDM Administration (Intune, Autopilot deployments)
- Basic Linux server and desktop administration
- Basic knowledge in Azure Virtual Machine administration, or other cloud infrastructures
- IT Security oriented admin point of view
- Possibility to get Security Clearance(SC) is a strict condition of employment.
- Driving licence
Essential:
- Experience with Dynamics 365 (user and permission administration)
- Administration of Microsoft 365 Security
- pfSense experience
- Experience in setting up and understanding VPN solutions (remote access, site to site)
- Good basic skills in networking, and software defined networking(SDN)
- Experience in working with computer hardware (laptops, servers, network equipment)
Required skills:
- Good team worker
- Good problem solving skills
- Writing and maintaining/updating documentation
- Interface with 3rd party support and contractors
- The drive to deliver improvements
